Police detained several suspects wanted for a shooting that injured a man in a section of Jersey City on Wednesday night.
According to a preliminary investigation, police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the vicinity of 249 Old Bergen Road just before 10:20 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers found the victim suffering a bullet wound in their arm, according to police.
The victim was transported to Jersey City Medical Center and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say three suspects were taken into custody after a foot pursuit and a weapon was recovered during the chase.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
