Police in Newark issued a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Mr. Leslie Wilson-Reid, aka Andre Reid, 47, of Newark, in connection with an aggravated assault stabbing that occurred on Friday, March 4.
According to police, just after 4:40 p.m., Police responded to a residence in the area of Chelsea Avenue near Mountainview Avenue on a call of a stabbing.
Police said responding officers located a victim who had been stabbed by his neighbor with a pocket knife following a quarrel.
The victim was transported to University Hospital for treatment of a laceration to his arm and is reportedly in stable condition.
Detectives investigating this incident identified Leslie Wilson-Reid, aka Andre Reid, as a suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
