Jersey City Police chased down a suspect who was wanted for a shots-fired incident that occurred on a city street Tuesday night.
According to police, gunfire rang out in the 90's block of Van Nostrand Avenue just before 11:40 p.m. sending police to investigate.
Officers arrived and found an unidentified male running from the scene, according to officials.
Police captured the suspect after a short foot pursuit and authorities found shell casings at the scene of the shooting.
