An aviation unit assisted police in Linden in their search for a robbery suspect who held up a business in the city Monday night.
The incident happed around 8:50 p.m. at the 7-Eleven located at 528 North Wood Avenue.
A preliminary investigation indicated that a black male suspect entered the store armed with a gun and demanded cash from an employee.
The suspect fled the scene immediately after the robbery and it is not clear how much proceeds were taken during the robbery.
Police believe the suspect wore a black hoodie and black mask during the heist.
There were no physical injuries immediately reported.
The incident is under investigation by Linden Police.
