Armed Pennsylvania Bank Robber Spotted Near NJ Bridge

An armed man accused of robbing a Pennsylvania bank Thursday morning May have possibly fled into New Jersey.

According to authorities, officers responded First National Bank and Trust Company of Newtown branch, located at 1121 General Washington Memorial Boulevard, shortly before 10 a.m. for a report of a bank robbery.

Upon arrival, police learned a man entered the bank, displayed a gun and demanded cash from the teller. The suspect then fled on foot heading towards the Washington Crossing Bridge that goes to New Jersey.

Officials described the suspect as a white man who’s approximately 5’8” tall. The suspect was last seen wearing a windbreaker with a black stripe on the sides. In addition, he donned polarized sunglasses, a nylon camo face mask, dark jeans, and gray shoes with a white sole.
