Police in Linden are investigating a report of an armed carjacking that occurred in a section of the city Wednesday night.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to a location on Essex Avenue to investigate reports of carjacking just before 9 p.m.
Upon arrival, police say the victim reported that two armed suspects approached and stole their car at gunpoint.
The male and model of the carjacked vehicle has not immediately been released.
There were no physical injuries reported.
