Alleged Ranking MS-13 Gang Member Wanted in Indianapolis Reportedly Spotted in New Jersey

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has issued an alert to police departments in New Jersey to stay on the look out for a man they say is wanted in Indianapolis and is connected to heavy gang activity in the State of Indiana.

The suspect has been identified as **22-year-old Mr. Jose Manuel Romero-Parada,** who authorities say is an alleged high ranking member of the MS-13 gang.

Mr. Romero, a fugitive charged with domestic and international charges, was indicted in Indianapolis.

According to a release by the Department of Justice, federal and local law enforcement agencies in central Ohio and Indiana arrested multiple people Tuesday morning associated with the MS-13 gang. At least one of the arrests were made in Indianapolis.

A federal grand jury charged ten members with conspiracy to commit extortion, conspiracy to commit money laundering and use of a firearm during a crime of violence in an indictment.

Authorities believe that Mr. Romero is occupying a 2003 white Honda CRV with Indiana license plates reports said. He is said to have connections in New Brunswick and Union City.
