ALERT: Search Underway for Missing 12-Year-Old NJ Boy UPDATE: Found Safe

The Kearny Police Department has issued an urgent appeal to the public in their search for a missing 12-year-old boy, David Worthey.

Real EstateThe young boy was last seen by his family earlier this afternoon, prompting immediate concern and a community-wide search effort.

David Worthey is described as being 5'5" tall and weighing approximately 90lbs.

When last seen, he was wearing a black Nike hooded sweatshirt, black and red flannel pants, and black slippers.

It is also believed that he may be carrying a black backpack, which could assist in identifying him.

The Kearny Police Department is canvassing the area and has asked residents and the public at large to be on the lookout for David.

His sudden disappearance has raised significant concern amongst community members and law enforcement alike.

The police urge anyone with any information regarding David's whereabouts, or anyone who may have seen a child matching his description, to immediately contact the Kearny Police Department's patrol desk supervisor at 201-998-1313.

The Kearny Police Department is coordinating these efforts, ensuring that every possible location is thoroughly checked.
