ALERT: Police Search for Woman Wanted for Double Overnight Shooting in Newark

Police officials in newark issued a warrant for the arrest of Ms. Ashli Sinclair, 30, also known as 4G, on charges of two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose in a double shooting that occurred last night.

According to a statement released by Newark Public Safety Director Anthony Ambrose, shortly before 11 p.m., a man and woman were shot in the 100-block of Huntington Terrace.

Director Ambrose said the man arrived at University Hospital where doctors treated him for his injuries.

Police say the woman arrived at Newark Beth Israel Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Both patients are in stable condition Director Ambrose said.

Detectives investigating this incident identified Ashli Sinclair as the suspect and have secured a warrant for her arrest according to Director Ambrose.
