Police officials in Newark request the public’s help identifying a suspect wanted for a shooting incident that occurred on July 1.
According to authorities, Newark Police responded to a call about shots fired around 11:54 p.m. at 76 Grafton Avenue.
When they arrived, the officers saw a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. They provided aid to the victim and secured the scene.
While detectives investigate this incident and seek the public’s help with identifying this suspect, Director O’Hara urges anyone with information about the individual to call the Division's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
