Newark Police seek the public’s help with identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a shooting that injured a victim on October 22and.
Police said officers responded to calls of a shooting around 6:33 p.m. at an Exxon Gas Station in the 300 block of Springfield Avenue.
When police arrived, they learned that the suspect had fled south through the rear of the gas station and into the parking lot areas of Home Depot and Walgreens.
According to police, the suspect, a Black male, was wearing a grey zippered sweatshirt with a hood, light blue jeans, and white sneakers.
