ALERT: NJ Turnpike Crash, Emergency Maintenance Causes Heavy Delays

New Jersey State Police are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that has at least one person injured and massive delays on the NJ Turnpike in Mercer County.

According to a preliminary investigation, the collision involved about three vehicles in the southbound car lanes near mile marker 62.4 in Robbinsville just before 2:20 a.m.

The victim was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton for treatment while police search the area for a second person who may have ejected from one of the vehicles.

**State transportation officials said the following on NJ-511:**

"As of 4:07 am, there's a crash investigation and emergency maintenance on the New Jersey Turnpike inner roadway southbound from interchange 8 - (NJ-33) to interchange 7A - (I-195) in Robbinsville. The left and center lanes are closed to traffic until further notice".
