Police officials in Newark seek the public’s help with identifying a suspect who is wanted for questioning in connection with an aggravated assault shooting where a victim was injured on August, 12th.
Police say the man in the picture was captured on surveillance video arguing with someone before the shooting unfolded around 7:44 p.m. near the 500 block of Springfield Avenue.
Police say the man wore a black v-neck shirt, gray pants and glasses. He has a bald head, full beard and mustache.
While detectives investigating this incident are seeking the public’s help with identifying this individual, Director Ambrose urges anyone with information about him to call the Division's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
