Middlesex County authorities announced today that a Perth Amboy Doctor has been arrested and charged with Criminal Sexual Contact.
According to officials, on April 4, Dr. Gurvindra Johal, 55, of Colonia, was charged with an additional count of Criminal Sexual Contact following an investigation involving a woman who alleged that Dr. Johal touched her inappropriately while under his care at Amboy Urgent Care, located in the 400s block of Cornell Street, Perth Amboy.
Officials say Johal was previously arrested and charged with five counts of Criminal Sexual Contact and one count of Sexual Assault.
This is an active and ongoing investigation.
