Orange Police are on the search for an armed carjacking suspect that stole a vehicle in the city overnight.
According to preliminary reports, police responded to the area of Park and Elm streets to investigate a report of a carjacking in progress.
Upon their arrival, police learned that suspect pulled a gun and took a silver 2006 Jeep Cherokee from the victim before 11:30 p.m. reports said.
The vehicle has a reported NJ license plate number "M89-GJU".
There were no physical injuries reported.
