A brazen late night reported armed robbery of a 7-Eleven convenience store has authorities in Teaneck searching for the suspect.
Police responded the reports of an armed robbery in progress that happened shortly before 11:30 p.m. inside the store.
Cops arrived to the scene where they began a search for a black male suspect who witnesses said entered the establishment wearing a ski-mask, dark clothing, and armed with a weapon when he demanded cash.
An initial investigation indicated that the suspect made off with the cash register with an undetermined amount of cash inside.
Police setup a crime scene in the area where they searched for evidence with K-9 units.
There were no immediate reports of physical injuries.
