46-Year-Old Shot Man Shot in the Buttocks in Paterson

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald announce that at approximately, 4:42 a.m. Saturday, members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of 16th Avenue and Carroll Street on a report of shots fired. Upon arrival the police were unable to locate a potential crime scene or victim.

Police say a short time later, members of the Paterson Police Department were advised that a 46-year-old male Paterson resident arrived at Saint Joseph’s Medical Center in Paterson for treatment of a non-fatal gunshot wound.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
