Camden, N.J. – Detectives are looking to identify the driver behind a fatal hit-and-run in Camden early Sunday morning, according to Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer and Camden County Police Chief Joseph Wysocki.
Police were called to Baird Blvd. and Admiral Wilson Blvd. around 2:30 a.m. on April 26 for a report of a person in the roadway. When officers arrived, they found Jose A. Then-Ruiz, 28, of Camden, dead in the road.
Investigators determined Then-Ruiz was struck by an unknown vehicle and dragged before the driver left the scene.
