26-Year-Old Woman Shot in Paterson

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald announce that at approximately 12:12, a.m. on October 4th, members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Clinton Street and North Main Street Paterson, on a report of shots fired.

Police say they located a possible crime scene in the area but were unable to locate a victim.

A short time later members of the Paterson Police Department were advised that a 26- year-old female Paterson resident arrived at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson for treatment of a non-fatal gunshot wound.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
