21-Year-Old Shot in Paterson

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald announce that at approximately 12:52, a.m. on June 22nd, members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of East 26th Street and 10th Avenue Paterson, on a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival police located evidence of a crime scene, but no victim was located.

A short time later, members of the Paterson Police Department were advised that a 21-year-old male Paterson resident had arrived at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
