21-Year-Old Man Injured in Paterson Shooting

Passaic County authorities announced that at approximately 12:25 a.m. on Sunday, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Godwin Avenue and Carroll Street on a report of shots fired.

Upon arrival members of the Paterson Police Department located evidence of a crime scene but were unable to locate a victim.

Authorities said, a short time later members of the Paterson Police Department were advised that a 21-year-old male Paterson resident arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center seeking treatment of a non-fatal gunshot wound.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
