$20K Mega Millions Ticket Sold in Bergen County

James Carey, New Jersey Lottery acting executive director, announced that there was one third-tier prizewinning ticket sold for the Friday, April 12th drawing that matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball drawn winning the $10,000 prize.

Officials say the ticket was purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prize to $20,000. That ticket was sold at 7-Eleven #33475, 357 Market St., Elmwood Park in Bergen County.

The winning numbers for the Friday, April 12th drawing were: 01, 24, 25, 40 and 70. The Gold Mega Ball was 04, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 02.

In addition, 18 other players matched four of the five white balls drawn making each ticket worth $500. Two of those tickets were purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prize to $1,000. Moreover, 33,847 other New Jersey players took home $129,504 in prizes ranging from $2 to $400, according to Carey.

“Congratulations to the lottery winners and to the retailers that sold the winning tickets,” said Carey. “For selling the winning tickets, the retailers have become many more Lottery ‘lucky locations’ overnight.”
