19-Year-Old Shot in Paterson

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald announce that at approximately 3:18 p.m. today, members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of East 15th Street on a report of shots fired.

According to police, upon arrival, officers located a potential crime scene, but were unable to locate a victim.

A short time later, members of the Paterson Police Department were advised that a 19-year-old male Paterson resident arrived at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson for treatment of non-fatal gunshot wounds officials said.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
