19-Year-Old Male Gunshot Victim Enters Paterson Hospital

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announce that at approximately 2:57 p.m. members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Market Street and Carroll Street on a report of shots fired.

Upon arrival members of the Paterson Police Department located evidence of a crime scene but were unable to locate a victim.

Police said a short time later, members of the Paterson Police Department were advised that 19-year-old male Paterson resident arrived via private vehicle at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in seeking treatment for non-fatal gunshot wounds.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
