18-Year-Old Among Four Injured in Paterson Shooting

Passaic County Police officials announced that at approximately 7:45, p.m. on Monday night, members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of 12th Avenue and East 23rd Street Paterson on a report of shots fired.

Police say upon arrival, officers located a 23-year-old male Paterson resident, a 20-year-old male Garfield resident, a 27-year-old male Paterson resident, and an 18-year-old male Garfield resident inside an establishment on 12th Avenue suffering from non-fatal gunshot wounds.

According to authorities, all the victims were immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
