Our staff here at RLS Media Solutions Broadcasting and Metro Breaking News want to send a Birthday Salute to 104-years-young former Newark resident Mrs. Ollie Edwards.
Mrs. Edwards (a Central Ward Resident) has 8 children three of whom are living, and over 38 grand children. She told us that she has lost count of how many great grands and great great grands that she has.
After spending 65 years in Newark (mainly in the Central Ward), Mrs. Edwards now resides at the Delaire Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Linden.
She wants to shout out some of her friends at the The Mary Villa Senior Housing Center on South Orange Avenue in Newark's West Ward.
