A crash that happened on the northbound side of Route 21 in Newark had police temporarily close the highway.
First responders rushed to the scene of a multi-vehicle crash that happened near exit five at around 4:45 a.m. (Grafton Ave./Mill Street)
Rescue crews arrived to the scene to find three people suffering non-life threatening injuries.
Two of the injured were transported to University Hospital while the third victim reportedly refused medical attention.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
