An armed robbery reported in Elizabeth overnight has a woman in custody this morning.
Shortly after 11 p.m., police responded to the area of Broad Street and Elizabeth Avenue for a report of an armed robbery.
Upon arrival, a male victim told police that while in the area, he was approached by an armed woman appearing to be Albino. The woman reportedly made off with his wallet and other personal possessions.
Police conducted a search of the area where they located the woman and quickly placed her in custody after the victim positively identified her.
There were no injuries reported.
