Police in Hoboken are investigating an armed robbery that happened in the city overnight.
A report of an armed robbery at gunpoint sent police to the 700 block of Monroe Street at around 1 a.m. where they began a search for two black males who were armed with silver colored guns when they robbed two victims for wallets and cell phones.
The suspects reportedly dropped one of the wallets before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.
There were no injuries reported.
