We are waking up to a cold morning across Newark and the North Jersey region as we welcome the first day of November.

Good morning, New Jersey, and happy Sunday!
If you’re heading out to an early service at your house of worship, you’ll definitely want to grab that warm coat.
It’s chilly out there, but temperatures will warm up nicely as the day progresses. We just have to get through this cold morning first.
Currently, downtown Newark is checking in at 41 degrees with light winds.
It’s shaping up to be a beautiful Sunday across the region, with plenty of sunshine and comfortable afternoon temperatures.
For those heading into New York City to participate in the marathon, or simply planning to cheer on the runners, the weather should make for a great day to be outdoors.
According to the National Weather Service, today will be mostly sunny with a high near 62 degrees and light, variable winds.
Tonight, skies will remain mostly clear, with temperatures dropping to around 44 degrees and a light southwest wind.
Enjoy your Sunday, New Jersey, and make it a great start to November!
