We are waking up to a chilly Tuesday morning, and if you’re headed out early, forget about the jacket — a coat might feel pretty good, especially in parts of North Jersey.

Good morning, Jersey, and welcome to Tuesday!
At 4:30 a.m., temperatures are sitting in the lower 50s in Downtown Newark, and with the wind blowing, it feels even colder. Until the sun comes up, we’re definitely getting a taste of that full autumn weather.
Around New Jersey, Montville is at 46 degrees, Blairstown is down to 39, Kearny is at 51, Trenton is 48, Toms River is 40, and Newark is around 52 degrees.
Skies are mostly clear, and once we get through this chilly start, plenty of sunshine will take over and help warm things up a bit.
According to the National Weather Service, today will be sunny with a high near 65 degrees. Northwest winds will range from 8 to 15 mph.
Tonight will be mostly clear with a low around 44 degrees and lighter winds.
Have a great Tuesday, Jersey!
