A 50-year-old Paterson woman was killed after being struck by a vehicle Thursday evening in the city.
According to information released by Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Officer-in-Charge Patrick Murray, the crash occurred at approximately 7 p.m. October 2 in the area of Madison Avenue and 6th Avenue.
Authorities said the woman was transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center, where she was later pronounced dead.
The driver involved remained at the scene, officials said.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under active investigation.
