Mercer County authorities are asking for the public’s help identifying a person of interest following the reported explicit contact of a woman in Hightstown earlier this month.
According to information released by the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office, a 34-year-old woman told police she was walking near Park Way and Rogers Avenue at approximately 8 p.m. on September 11 when an unknown man approached her from behind.
Authorities said the woman was physically and explicitly contacted.
The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and Hightstown Police Department are investigating the incident.
No arrests have been made, and authorities said no suspect has been identified.
Investigators are seeking to identify and speak with an individual captured in video footage connected to the investigation.
