Newark Police are investigating two separate multi-vehicle crashes that occurred overnight in the city.
The first collision happened shortly before 1:30 a.m. near Fabyan Place and Hawthorne Avenue. Preliminary information indicated that three vehicles were involved, with two reportedly leaving the scene before authorities arrived. EMS was requested to evaluate one driver.
A second crash was reported around 3:35 a.m. near 766 Broadway, where four vehicles were involved.
Newark firefighters responded to the scene, and one person was evaluated by EMS for injuries.
No serious injuries were reported in either incident.
The circumstances surrounding both crashes remain under active investigation.
