Paterson Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle Saturday night, leaving the victim with life-threatening injuries.
According to preliminary information, emergency responders were dispatched to the area of 125 Trenton Avenue shortly before 9:45 p.m. for reports of a pedestrian struck.
Police arriving at the scene reportedly found the victim in traumatic cardiac arrest.
EMS crews rushed the patient to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center under a trauma alert for emergency treatment.
The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation. The victim’s identity and updated condition have not been officially released.
