Trenton Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash after a vehicle slammed into a building early Sunday morning.
According to preliminary information, emergency responders were dispatched shortly after 1:30 a.m. following reports of a vehicle striking a building in the area of Monmouth Street.
Officials said the occupants reportedly fled from the vehicle following the crash.
Fire officials requested a housing inspector to respond and evaluate the building for possible structural damage.
The incident location was later updated by command to 448 Hamilton Avenue.
No injuries were reported.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and searching for those involved. Additional information has not yet been released.
