We are waking up warm on this Thursday, September 10, in Newark and across the North Jersey region.

Good morning, New Jersey!
It is currently 74 degrees in downtown Newark, and we’re expecting temperatures to climb considerably today, so you will definitely feel the difference from yesterday.
Some rain is moving through portions of the region early this morning, so if you’re heading out, be prepared for some precipitation.
The good news is that it won’t be a washout, with much of the rain expected to move out around school time, between 8 and 8:30 a.m.
Temperatures around the state are fairly mild this morning, with some areas of New Jersey in the upper 60s while others are already into the 70s.
According to the National Weather Service, mostly sunny skies are expected today with a high near 88 degrees. West winds will range from 8 to 10 mph.
Tonight, clouds will increase with a 20 percent chance of showers after 2 a.m. and a low around 69 degrees.
Enjoy your Thursday, Jersey!
