A Mays Landing woman has admitted that she was driving under the influence and speeding when she caused a 2024 crash that killed a 22-year-old woman and injured another person in Hamilton Township.
Alexia M. Glass, 27, pleaded guilty Thursday, September 3, 2026, to charges connected to the deadly March 28, 2024 collision that killed Yolanda Pacheco, 22, of Mount Holly.
Authorities said Glass was traveling at an excessive speed and under the influence when she crashed into Pacheco’s vehicle. Jenalise Sierra-Valentin, 30, of Egg Harbor City, was also injured in the collision.
Glass pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter, aggravated assault, joyriding and criminal mischief. A second-offense DUI motor vehicle charge will be entered at sentencing.
The case was investigated by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Fatal Crash Investigation Unit with assistance from New Jersey State Police.
Glass also entered guilty pleas in two other criminal matters.
In an April 22, 2022 incident in Pleasantville, authorities said Glass drove while intoxicated with her two-month-old child in the back seat. She pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a child and DUI with a minor.
She additionally pleaded guilty to eluding in connection with a December 2, 2020 incident in which authorities said she refused to stop for law enforcement after being signaled to pull over.
Across the three cases, Glass pleaded guilty to six indictable offenses and one disorderly persons offense.
