Three juveniles are facing charges in connection with the July shooting death of a 28-year-old man in Keansburg, Monmouth County authorities announced Thursday.
According to a statement released by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, the investigation centers on the killing of Paco M. Moore, who was shot in the 40 block of Carr Avenue.
Keansburg Police responded to the area at approximately 8:56 p.m. after receiving a 911 call reporting gunfire. Officers found Moore suffering from a gunshot wound. 
He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities said one juvenile has been charged with murder, attempted murder and multiple weapons offenses. A second juvenile faces several weapons charges. Both are being held at a juvenile detention center.
A third juvenile was charged with hindering the apprehension of another person and released to a guardian pending Family Court proceedings.
The names of the juveniles have not been released because of their ages.
The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Bureau and Keansburg Police Department continue to investigate the shooting.
