Newark Police are searching for a driver who reportedly fled the scene after crashing into multiple vehicles early Wednesday morning.
The crash happened shortly before 3 a.m. near South 8th Street and 15th Avenue in Newark.
According to preliminary information, emergency crews responded to a three-vehicle crash after a moving vehicle struck two parked cars.
The driver reportedly left the scene following the collision, prompting a search by police.
Newark firefighters also responded to the scene. No serious injuries were immediately reported.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation, and additional information was not immediately available.
