Good morning, New Jersey, and welcome to Wednesday! We’ve made it to the middle of the week, and Mother Nature is giving us a pretty nice day to get over the hump.

We’re starting out at 74 degrees in downtown Newark, and today will most certainly be our “Pick of the Week” for weather conditions.
Skies are looking good across the region with no precipitation expected, and we should enjoy plenty of sunshine throughout the day. It will get warm, with temperatures climbing into the upper 80s.
If you happen to have the day off, this might be a great day to head down the Shore and enjoy the beach.
According to the National Weather Service, Newark can expect sunny skies with a high near 88 degrees. Winds will be calm before becoming west at around 5 to 8 mph this afternoon.
Tonight will be partly cloudy with temperatures falling to around 70 degrees.
Take advantage of today because Thursday could bring a different feel, with increasing humidity and the possibility of some pop-up showers and thunderstorms around the region.
