We’re waking up to a slightly warmer and more humid start than the last couple of days, but much of the Newark and North Jersey region should remain dry today.

Good morning, New Jersey, and welcome to Tuesday!
It’s currently 75 degrees in downtown Newark, and you’ll definitely notice a little more stickiness in the air this morning.
Some areas could see a passing shower, but today will not be a washout. Parts of Passaic and Essex counties may pick up a few showers, particularly around Bloomfield, Passaic and Wayne.
Any showers that develop should be relatively quick movers.
According to the National Weather Service, there is a slight chance of showers before 11 a.m., followed by another slight chance after 2 p.m.
Otherwise, skies will be partly sunny with a high near 86 degrees. Winds will be calm before becoming northwest at around 5 mph.
The chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low around 69 degrees and light, variable winds.
Have a great Tuesday, Jersey!
