We continue in a warm weather pattern as hazy, hot and humid conditions remain across Newark and the North Jersey region to close out the second half of the weekend.

As of 4:30 a.m., Newark was sitting at 75 degrees with winds around 9 mph.

According to the National Weather Service, Sunday will be mostly sunny with a high near 91 degrees. The humidity will make it feel even hotter, with heat index values reaching as high as 96 degrees.

Tonight, skies will become mostly clear as temperatures fall to around 72 degrees. Winds will become calm during the evening.
