Good Sunday morning! We hope you had a wonderful first half of the weekend.

If you’re up around 4:30 a.m. getting ready for your house of worship or simply heading out to start your day, you may want to grab a light jacket.
It’s a cool 61 degrees in downtown Newark, making for a refreshing start to the morning across much of North Jersey.
Today will be another pleasant day, but it won’t be an exact repeat of Saturday. Sunshine will dominate much of the day with temperatures climbing to around 85 degrees, while humidity gradually begins to return.
As the afternoon and evening progress, a few isolated showers could develop in parts of the Newark and North Jersey region, although many communities are expected to remain dry.
According to the National Weather Service, today will be sunny with a high near 85 degrees and light, variable winds.
Tonight, skies will become partly cloudy, with temperatures falling to around 66 degrees as a light south wind diminishes during the evening.
Enjoy the beautiful morning, have a blessed Sunday, and thank you for making RLS Metro Breaking News part of your day.
