Two people were hospitalized following a shooting Saturday evening in Jersey City, and authorities continue searching for the gunman.
The shooting occurred around 7 p.m. in the 100 block of Harrison Avenue.
According to preliminary emergency dispatch reports, police requested EMS to respond urgently after receiving reports that two victims had been shot.
Both victims were transported to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment. As of 4:30 a.m. Sunday, both were reported to have sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived and remains at large as the investigation continues.
No arrests have been announced, and authorities have not yet released information regarding a possible motive or suspect description.
