Good morning, New Jersey! Happy Friday.
We’re wrapping up the workweek with another absolutely gorgeous start to the day. Just like yesterday, we’re waking up to cool breezes, comfortable temperatures, and a pristine morning across Newark and much of North Jersey.
If you thought Thursday was the best weather day of the week, today may give it some competition.
Expect another picture-perfect summer day with low humidity, plenty of sunshine, and no threat of rain, a welcome change from the oppressive heat that gripped the region just a week ago.
As of early this morning, it’s 70 degrees in downtown Newark, where a refreshing breeze is making for an outstanding start to the day.
Whether you’re heading to work, spending time outdoors, or planning a trip to the beach, the weather couldn’t be much better.
Around the Garden State, temperatures are even cooler in some locations.
Trenton is at 59 degrees, Wrightstown 59, Toms River 61, and Passaic County is waking up to 67 degrees. It’s shaping up to be one of those top-10 weather days that reminds us why summer in New Jersey can be so enjoyable.
According to the National Weather Service, today will be sunny with a high near 84 degrees as calm winds become a light southeast breeze during the afternoon.
Tonight will remain pleasant with partly cloudy skies and a low around 64 degrees before winds become calm again.
