Paterson Man Dies Following Early Morning Route 21 Crash in Passaic

A 32-year-old Paterson man died following a two-vehicle crash early Monday morning on Route 21 South in Passaic, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

The collision occurred at approximately 4:15 a.m. on July 6 near the Dayton Avenue exit and involved a white Toyota Camry and a gray Toyota Camry.

 

Both drivers were transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment. Authorities said the driver of the gray Toyota Camry was later pronounced dead.
 

The investigation remains active and ongoing. Officials have not released the identity of the deceased pending further investigation and notification.
