A man wanted in New Hampshire on charges connected to the alleged explicit contact of a minor was arrested in Vineland by members of the U.S. Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force.

Authorities identified the suspect as Imani Davis, 31, who was being sought by the Merrimack County Superior Court in New Hampshire after allegedly failing to appear in court on a charge of felonious explicit contact of a minor.
According to officials, deputy U.S. marshals and task force officers conducted an investigation that led them to the Relax Inn motel in Vineland, where Davis was located and taken into custody without incident.
Davis is currently being held pending extradition proceedings and is expected to be returned to New Hampshire to face the outstanding charge.
“Protecting children and apprehending those accused of victimizing the most vulnerable members of our communities remains a top priority for the U.S. Marshals Service,” said Nicholas Ricigliano, Acting U.S. Marshal for the District of New Jersey.
“This arrest demonstrated the strength of partnerships and the commitment of our deputies and task force officers to ensuring that fugitives are located and brought before the court, regardless of where they attempt to hide.”
The charge against Davis is an accusation, and he is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty
