Emergency responders were called to a residence in Camden County after a 74-year-old man experienced a medical emergency while in a swimming pool Saturday afternoon.
According to preliminary reports, the incident occurred at a home on Prospect Avenue, where the man was found unresponsive in the water.
Bystanders quickly removed him from the pool and began rendering aid.
Two nurses who were reportedly at the location immediately initiated CPR before first responders arrived.
Emergency medical personnel were dispatched to the scene and continued treatment.
Reports from the scene indicated the man regained breathing before being transported for further medical evaluation and treatment.
As of late Saturday night, authorities had not released an update on the man’s condition. The incident remains under investigation, and no additional information was immediately available.
