If you’re waking up after a great sports weekend, you’ll be greeted by a much more comfortable start to the week. 
It is currently 70 degrees in downtown Newark, and unlike the sticky conditions we dealt with over the weekend, humidity levels have dropped significantly.
Expect plenty of sunshine, a refreshing breeze, and temperatures climbing to around 79 to 81 degrees this afternoon. With lower humidity and comfortable temperatures, today will be an excellent day to spend time outdoors.
According to the National Weather Service, today will be sunny with a high near 79 degrees. Northwest winds will range from 10 to 14 mph, with gusts reaching up to 24 mph.
Tonight, skies will remain mostly clear with temperatures falling to around 58 degrees. Northwest winds will continue at 6 to 10 mph.
